Compatible Optical & Copper Transceivers
ProLabs offers an extensive range of optical and copper transceivers to fit your requirements. All transceivers are standards-based and comply with the MSA (Multi-Source Agreement). Transceivers range from 100BASE-FX to 100Gb products and cover optical and copper transceivers such as GBIC, SFP, Xenpak, X2, XFP, SFP+, QSF and CFP.
DAC'S & AOC's
These are often used for data centre short reach interconnects. They are terminated with transceiver-style ends to be used in the same ports where optical transceivers can be used. Protocol independent, they can support a variety of data rates including Ethernet, Infiniband and Fiber channel.
Multicode Compatible range
ProLabs have developed a range of multicode optical transceivers, compatible with three vendors: Cisco, Juniper and Arista. Our optical transceivers work across SFP 1G and SFP+ 10G, over SR/SX, LR/LX and ER/EX distances.
Optical connectivity solutions
ProLabs range of mini media converters (MiMC) can help to reduce space with their compact size. If used in a cabinet, 12 MiMCs can be used in a 1U rack space. The MiMC come with SFP or fixed connecters. DIP switch on the back lets the user change between 100base and 1G, as well as LFPT functions.
Passive CWDM/DWDM networking
Multiplexing offers the customer a high density, scalable fiber solution. Rather than investing in more fiber, it allows an increase in the fiber utilization by carrying multiple signals down an individual fiber connection.
Pushing the boundaries of fibre further
ProLabs provides an extensive range of industry-standard transceivers. ProLabs range consists of 1G and 10G transceivers, compatible with a range of vendors and includes a life time warranty with all products.
Network performance with OTDR
ProLabs' EON-NSV-OTDR is a cost-effective device specifically designed to allow for not just OTDR testing of the underlying optical circuit, but also the Layer-2 and Layer-3 services that may be running over it.
Operating with both Layer-2 and Layer-3 addressing, ProLabs' EON-NSV-OTDR contains custom hardware for the generation of test traffic, loop-back (by packet-level Source/Destination address swapping) and analysis, to industry-standard test profiles including RFC 2544, ITU-T Y.1564 and RFC-5357 (TWAMP).
